Aina Melis is a Mallorcan artist, graduated in Fine Arts at the university in Barcelona, That is the BCN in BcnTku. Later moved to Turku in the south-west Finland, were I have formed my family and started this project, thats the TKU.
"I use both basic shapes and mainly primary colours to fill the empty space, so the lines fluid together leading to precise and balanced geometric compositions where the ideas of symmetry-asymmetry and pulling and letting go play the main role. The use of classic minimalistic compositions and my love for suprematism, and the Bauhaus ideas and aesthetics, show constantly in my work."
